Massage for Trauma

Traumatic experiences have physical as well as psychological effects.  Though talking about painful experiences is often necessary, releasing the body’s trauma can be equally important.  In this massage, emotional holding patterns in the body from disturbing experiences are encouraged to release.  Though terrible experiences can never be erased, the body’s shock can be assuaged.  I am a proud member of The Breathe Network, a “resource and referral network connecting survivors of sexual violence to trauma-informed, holistic healing arts practitioners.”  Molly Boeder, the founder of the Breathe Network, is a childhood friend and I am honored to be of service to her organization and the population it serves.
